Sony has announced a new direct to MS video recorder and is only for the (MemoryStick).The MSVR-A10 is a MS reader/recorder that supports the MPEG-4 AVC(H.264) format and encodes the video straight onto the Memorysticks.Quite usefull to be able to easily record movies for your PSP and Sony Ericsson Mobiles.

It could atleast support the mass storage protocol, so usb drives could be used as well as Sony memory cards, or even just a multi-card reader.

does it have control over video output resolution? As we all know, K750 is only 3GP and won't play higher res video (such as qvga videos).

Considering the limited storage space of a memory stick I think it is safe to say that this piece of junk is for fanboys only.
And since Sony does have a nasty habit of asking for high prices for its less than average junk...

Eerr theres already something like this, our satelite decoders here have that option to record of satelite! But I think its only SD ... i think.
And the a Sansui dvd rec video combo that supports mem stick duo and SD cards....
