ello all.

Just bought this little bargin off ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay[....]pagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

I got it dirt cheap, I was going to offer the guy £60 for it, but i think he tuned down my offer lol.
Like most of the bits I buy it's faulty, but im thinking about how to fix it... Looking at it It may be a simple issure such as a firmware upgrade, but im not 100% sure, any ideas are welcome as I don't know s**t about these kind of things, but it was cheap so I wanted it

the firs tthing to do is to flash the firmware to the latest version. This will reset and reinstall the internal software. If the unit still doesn't work after that, it will make a fine paperweight (if the wind isn't blowing to hard).

You could disassemble the unit and make sure nothing is loose, possibly causing a poor earth or some similar problem, but usually once consumer electronics like this is faulty there is no way to economically repair.
