> z800i LED light

Hey everyone,
Ok heres the story. I went to the beach this summer, and me ,being stupid, walked into the water with my 2 month old z800i in my pocket. When I got out it wouldnt even turn on. Now two months later it turns on and does everything except...The flashlight/camera light flickers,, the speaker crackles, but the thing I want to ask about is the LED light under the external screen. It is a constant red, and the green still flashes in between. I sent it in to get repaired, but they didn't do anything at all - It was 'unfixable'. So anyways, I was wondering if theres anyway anyone would know how to turn the RED LED off, because I was happy with the green one - also the battery life is seriously reduced, even on powersaving mode, and I think it's party due to the LED. . Thanks in advance (and I know this post is long)

The only way to get the red light off if it is water damaged is to unsolder it from the board. I wouldnt recomend it though. I would leave it as it is.
