> Failed: error on SE Media Player

most of the time i'm listening to MP3 files uploaded on my S700i's memory stick. it's all fine, until suddenly in the middle of the track of a certain song, music will stop and an error message "
Failed" will appear, then the media player will exit. this has happened several times, though not often. playback will resume once i try listening to the MP3s again, but it's quite annoying whenever that error happens.
has anyone experienced the same thing? if so, what did you do to resolve it?

I have got a w800i, and started having the same problems that you describe, but my media player would stay open. (I write and erase MP3's using a card reader on a almost daily basis)
I ended up having to format the memory stick, and since then, it has been fine. Maybe want to give that a try.

It sometimes happens to my w800 too, but not often enough to be really annoying. As it's a random crash, I don't have any clues as to the cause.

Same here. It doesn't happen often. Music just stops and the error appears on screen. when I restart the song all goes well again. I don't have a clue on what's causing this either.

hmmm... seems like it's a firmware issue, as it shouldn't be exiting the media player at random...
