Mine conks out everyday! Could this be due to the fact that I have nearly no network signal where I work and the phone is constantly searching for network (and getting it in between) or is the 8800 battery that bad!
Thank god my P910 saves the day
Asking coz I'm not sure if I need to get a replacement from Nokia.

you would think that an expensive phone would have a decent battery!
Then again, it is a Nokia

strange

I never needed to get the second battery out of the box, even with all the playing I was doing with the phone for the few weeks I had it

I am only using one battery at the moment but will try the other one in the box to see if that's better. To be honest it hasn't been too mad bad battery life seems to have deteriorated in the past couple of weeks.

Mine lasted like half a day, then I had to switch sims

So got rid of the phone, hopefully getting a p990i soon so when that comes i'll get a 8800 as my second phone which won't get much use.
Was suprised how poor the battery life was...

@kk.226, interested in selling me an 8800, dead cheap? Phone battery and charger is all I need (if it makes it a lot cheaper!)

Hey coxy sorry man I sold it... I had a few on me dead cheap... Bought a brand new one for like £250 with everything. Sold my main one to a guy in the street who stopped me for close to £400 cash on the spot, so I have Box & Dock etc. sitting here spare!
With all the rest I got bored so sold them (couldn't jusitfy keepin a phone worth £350 just yet, the price will keep dropping). Especially seeing as I didn't need them Using a L7 and a W900i now (which is going... can't stand it).
8800 would make a perfect second phone though, has the right amount of features and battery life for it. Or even if you don't make a LOT of calls, it's a perfect phone for everyday use (Just charge every night).
I've defo got my eye on another one
