of all the ones I have had, the JasJar performed the worst for battery life but I am still amazed at how my k-jam just keeps going on and on!

about how long would it lasts in active use, for example when listening to music while browsing the net?

I browse the net 2 hours a day (on my way to and from the office).
I watch maybe 20-30 minutes of video
I make endless calls
The phone checks my email automatically every 15 minutes

by the end of the day the battery is down to between 75% and 80% at most (i.e. its used 20% to 25%)

on the JasJar (admittedly running 3g instead of gprs) it would get down to 3%-40% battery remaining for the same activity

well, I've never pushed it that far because I stick it on a cradle to synchronise with my PC each night and morning and that also charges it

edit: oh.. .and its not a large device!

remember though that the Atom has the Intel xscale processor running at 416mhz whereas the Jam uses the new technology processor (OMAP850) from Texas Instruments which runs normally at 200mhz (195mhz on the k-jam) and so doesn't drain the battery as much

well if it goes down 20% in one day it should last for around four days, right?? oh and i checked k-jam specs at gsmarena, it is actually smaller than SE p-series!! i thought it was bigger... i was wrong... but it is still not a "small" device
