Right 1st question
Can a person insure more than one car at a time. i.e my mum insures family car and then could she insure a 2nd car under her name and me as a named driver
2nd question
Are saxo's good cars ?
3rd
Other than saxo, clio, corsa what other small cars are there that look good and have cheap insurance and are cheap themselves
Last question
How many lessons does the avg person take to pass
Thanks
edit: Also how much does a respray of a car cost. as i hate the colours i find and black cars always lot more experesive

Yes you can insure two cars and it would be better to be a named driver as it will be, cheaper but bear in mind when you want to be paying yourself, you may have to start from scratch and more alot more than your mum did.
Insurance for a young lad is like £1000 just for third party, and it doesnt get cheaper untill you are over 25.
A micra is possibly the cheapest car to insure, but there not that nice unless you have a newer model (there nice to drive aswell my grandad has a new one)
It all depends on how long it will take everyone is different, try and get insured on your parents car to get some practice in it will make a hell of alot of difference. For a lad a would say around 20-30 lessons, may even be less.

Bollocks. Old minis are fine, i've stuck one on its roof, and i'm still here to tell the tale! Only women and pensioners think about safety - which are you?

I would go for a corsa that is what i drive mostly they are easy to handle, cheap to insure, cant go wrong.
Cheap to buy aswell you can get a decent secondhand one for around £2000.

My brother has had a saxo for about a year and loved it, really nippy and good looking, easy to get parts for! About the insurance, not many companys let parents ensure cars and put youngsters as second driver; too many people started doing it and they got sick of it,
