I've just received my new T68i today and tried to
activate the bluetooth menu, for some reason the
"bluetooth" line in the "connect" menu appears in
gray and when trying to enter the bluetooth menu,
I receive an error message "currently unavailable"
couldn't find any solution in the user guide. do you
have any idea what might be the problem?
Thanks

Where are you from? I heard a similar predicament from a user from israel, where the spectrum for bluetooth is not for public use. This post was posted from a T68i

I hadn't heard that, but... you can't solve it!

The government out there controls thue use of that part of the spectrum.

yes bluetooth is illegal in israel... and therefore the t68 automatically disables that feature if it detects an israeli simcard or network :/

If so, it means that the T68i software
detects an Israeli sim card and disables
all the Bluetooth functions. there must
be some crack to bypass this feature.
Any ideas?

well, you can try to use a foreign SIM card and use it on roaming in your network. But this might be an expensive alternative.

That is exactly what I did and the blutooth works fine, but again as you said this is an expensive solution. What I'm trying to figure out is what was the latest SW version without the the bluetooth block feature.

@ SonyBoy

What makes you think it is so bad?
nothing happened, we had a usful
discussion.
what's more important is solving
this problem, do you happen to
know what was the last SW version
prior to the BT blocking.
Is it possible to "downgrade" to
this version?
