Yes, I think so. In my w800 when I turn my headset on (Plantronics Discovery 640) it is automatically detected by the phone and it changes to handsfree profile.

Cool, its cuz i'm considering buying a BT headset, but i thought i might as well get the latest i can, being the SE headset which supports auto pairing.
