I have just upgraded from a k700i to a w800i and i want to browse my wifes phone with bluetooth but i cannot seem to find the browse.I had this in the k7oo but have they taken it off the W800?Also what is the latest firmware as i would like to debrand and update at the same time.Is multiserver still going?

File browsing taken off in newer phones including w800. Look in the firmware overview thread for the latest firmware and info about fixes and bugs.

Thanks for that in the firmware overview there are 345 pages and to read all of them is a little bit much.What were the reasons for removing the browse?Also which is the very latest firmware for the phone?

Browsing was removed as a safety issue. It was considered dangerous to allow such a feature since it can result in personal information access.
Regarding firmware, latest is R1BC002 and it works quite well (no major bug found till now).

Ok cheers i just went to update via the seus site and i have now got a totally dead phone!I have only had it 3 days and it was working perfectly.It will not charge or turn on and is not reconised when i connect it to my computer.How is it possible for seus to do this to a phone and is there any remedy for it.I think the battery may have slipped as i was only holding the battery in and did not have the back cover on.
