Folks, it turns out that my N70 is actually unlocked. I've tried it with a Virgin sim and it worked perfect.

As in my last post: The phone is brand spanking new. Only taken out of box to charge... and now to try a different sim on it.

And, again as before, all I want to do is get rid of it to fund my SPV C600.

If people want to bid on it, you're more than welcome. But please bid on here and not via PM. This will just let everyone know that I'm not inflating the bid. If someone wants it asap as a BUY NOW, then please PM me.

Hope this sounds fair.

No timewaster this time PLEASE!!

Thanks

Virgin use the T_Mobile network so quite often their sims will work in T-Mobile branded phones. I suggest you try a O2 or Orange sim before advertising the phone as unlocked.

I tried it on vodaphone and it was fine. Virgin too was fine. I called up t mobile and they said that if it worked on Virgin and vodaphone chances are it started off life unlocked.

But, just in case, if anyone here is technically minded with mobile phones, then if they really do want it just do a quick bit of research.

Solidsingh, I was really hoping for at least £150 (+P&P). I know that unlocked N70's go for a lot more. But I'm not in it to make money... but also don't want to give the phone away. All I want to do, as I keep saying, is get the money for my C600

PS The phone is branded t-mobile. Hope this little thing doesn't put people off!

If it worked with a Voda sim then its unlocked .. that's a result as only O2 send out their phones unlocked normally.
The T-Mobile branding can easily be got rid of as well

Sorry Mac boy. I currently don't have/can't afford the facilities to take digi pics.

But please trust me when I say the phone is as it would be if you were to walk into a phone shop and buy a brand spanking new N70. The only thing I've got out of the plastic casing is the phone... and that was only to charge it (the charger wasn't in a plastic casing!!)
