Hey.
A friend of mine got a w800 and he don't like the build in app to save passwords and stuff. He says that you can enter any pass and you get in
and can see not the passwords but the descriptions in plaintext.
And it's not that secure since then ppl can see where you have accounts and stuff.
So he asked me if I knew a better app that you can make entrys in like store a desctiption and a password that ppl cant get in and view at all without entering the correct password.
Do anyone know of a java app like this for w800 or is there a bored java coder willing to make a try?

Try Pocket Protector; it won't disappoint you/your friend.
Pocket Protector is a personal secure record storage for the MIDP platform. Pocket has been developed to act as a storage for Personal Authentication Information. This may be bank PINs, SSH/ftp/telnet usernames and passwords, office access codes, or any type of similar information. The 128 bit key is used with the AES symmetric cipher in CBC mode.
This app stores things with the STRONGEST encryption I've ever seen on a mobile! Great FREE software by Jon Eaves.
Fully tested and works perfectly on my K700.

looks good. There is also FileProtect which provides DES encryption of individual files if you want to hide actual files.

Fileprotect is available without prompts. Download direct to phone from
http://www.ixalon.net/FileProtect.jad (type exactly as seen here, including upper case)
Once the app is installed go to the jave permission for that app and set read and write permission to "never ask"
Wallah, no permission prompts!

You can enter any passcode to get in with Code Memo but it will scramble your checkword and all your passwords. Try it! The only shame I find with Code Memo is that you can't back it up.

The app that I use for passwords, PINs, etc, is called Watchman.
It works very well, you may want to check it out.
You can see it at
