Yeah, the same problem here. Think it would be good a password for screen lock. Maybe there's a phone with the feature on the market. This message was posted from a Nokia

I know that the Moto V975 can lock with a PIN. My friend had one on his phone.

I have the same prob. But what i do is not have any "incriminating" smses on my phone. I used 2 have a phone with a keypad password. But that caused more fighting than peace. She just knows there's something that i don't want her 2 c. This message was posted from a WAP device

it's possible on P-series phones, but it's not possible on non-symbian phones from . if you really need that feature, then i guess you'll have to look at other manufacturers' phones...

There is a J2ME application called "Alarma XMovil" that can do the job. Once activated if someone (you girlfriend maybe) presses a key of your phone an alarm sound is triggered. To de-acticate you must press 1-5-9 keys in less than 3 seconds.
You will find it here: http://personales.com/espana/barcelona/mitsuplc/alarmaxmovil.html , where you can choose between 4 different versions. The first one is the original and the others are only alarm sound variations.
I hope it helps.

Alarma Xmovil is a nice app to lock the phone. However, is it possible to configure this application so that we can set our own lock code? Also, can the alarm function (flashing screen and vibra) be disabled as it will drain the battery if you don't unlock it? I only want it to lock the phone so that my family members will not be able to browse through my phone.
