Hi all. After a while without one I have just picked up another P910i. Its on the T-mobile network and has all there crap all over it. Whats the best way to get rid of everything (logos and menus etc) and just have the SE firmware on it. Can I do it over the net etc.
Any help appreciated
Scott

Davinci team can only unlock P910i's not debrand
You will need to buy three credits to use with Total multi server.
The first credit is for unlocking
The second credit is for flashing the firmware
The third credit is for flashing symbian, CDA, Language and bluetooth (bluetooth is optional)
If the phone is unlocked already (any network) then you can miss step 1 out but in order to debrand and have network crap taken off you must carry out steps 2 AND 3 (only doing one of them will not work)
Trust me on this ..i have done with mine .. no other way round it
This will enable MMS and Email / Internet to function properly
ps buy credits from
http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/[....]g/sonyericssonremoteunlock.htm as they are cheaper than directly from TMS

@Moltavia,
You seem to be very knowledgable about de-branding/unlocking...perhaps you wouldn't mind writing a beginners guide to doing it from start to finish? if you have time

as I'm sure MANY people would appreciate this.

Jon

Hi all
just got my P910i debranded and re flashed to latest software, whole thing only took about 30mins. This company are in London and their service was excellent and more importantly i am happy no more Network rubbish on my phone and i can't believe how much smoother it is running. I am now running
Phone R4E001
Bluetooth R2F
Organiser R5B01

Sorry forgot say cost was £18 but if unlocking required £20 since getting my phone done have noticed this company now has services via E-Bay and a postal service

rather than write a user guide on how to do this, I would recommend other users to go to
http://www.totalmultiserver.com/instructions.php
and follow these very clear and easy to follow instructions.
i would also like to point out that in order to UNLOCK and DEBRAND a P910i requires 3 credits (most phones only require 2) and it is cheaper to buy 5 credits from totalmultiserver than 3 credits from anywhere else. (leaving 2 credits to unlock / debrand a standard type phone later on )Also, the DSS-25 sync station that comes with the P910i can be used instead of a cruiser cable if the latest USB drivers are installed

Hiya all
before you purchase any credits, please check price comparison from both TMS and fonefunshop as prices keep altering
http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/logs/se/index.php
http://www.totalmultiserver.com/order.htm
remember to unlock AND debrand requires 3 credits
at time of posting 3 credits from fonefunshop was £24
but 5 credits from TMS was £25 (£1 more for two extra credits!) just depends if you would use them i suppose

I;ve just done the debranding with Total Server and although the firmware version now says R4E001, the Vodafone animation still appears when I switch on and off. I used 2 credits - first the AVR firmware, then the symbian/language file bit. The processes both said they had completed successfully.
Also, when I click on the free Bluetooth upgrade, it tells me I don't have enough credit...
I have done a master reset. Any tips?
