Hi,

I have a P910i bought on a vodafone contract like a year ago, and about to sell it.

Was just wondering if anyone knows for sure if it is simfree as standard ? as i know the older vodafone phones are, can't really test it as have no other simcards

Thanks

Vofafone handsets are locked, unfortunately. You can double check by inputting the following:

Jog-Dial up
*
Jog-Dial down
Jog-Dial down
*
Jog-Dial down
*

Then go into Information and SIM locks - if all the padlocks are open it's unlocked.

O2 phones are traditionally not network locked.

Got my p910 from O2 in Dec 04 and it's not locked. This might no longer be the case tho.
