Is this right? Vodafone have been charging me to divert my phones to another number! I have recieved a bill charging me each time someone has made a phonecall to my vodafone number....I have been diverting the calls to an 02 number.....is this okay? I can't find any info on call divert charges on the vodafone website

I thought all networks charge to divert calls as the call has to go into and then out of their system.

Unfortunatly this is correct! I got caught out a while ago 1 months charges came to a small fortune for me

Orange contract also charges to divert my calls to an alternative number wheather it land-line or another mobile number.
Even calling to my voice-mail gets charged so i guess you can't win!

I think all providers in Australia charge for diverting calls, so I guess in England it would be just the same...

This is correct as another call is effectively being made by voda to your divert number. probably best to divert to voice mail and record a greeting telling people to ring your other number. or simply just give your other number to people lol
