Hi Guys and Gals!
Ive Never used this forum before so i am interested to see if you guys can help. I was using one off the tut's on this site to replace my p900 housing and it was going well. I had just put the front cover on, when i tried to turn the phone on. It didnt work. I re-opened the phone to find that the power switch had broken off.
I reallly need to get this fixed but i dont know what i can do. I searched the net for a few hours looking for replacement switches but i didnt have any luck.
I emailed SE, but they told me to send my phone to them , which is very expensive.

If anyone has links to sites selling this item, or have had simmilar problems, please post. This is very important! Thanks a lot!

Hi,

welcome to Esato!

I've trawled the t'internet for you mate but no luck! I hope someone else has some for you!

Is there a SE centre near you you could take it in too rather than mailing it to them?

Good luck

it can bedone, as long as you havent snapped the pads off your fine, but if you have putting it bluntly you are f**ked.

Its very simple to do, just solider it back on and it should be fine....

done it myself a few times, just make sure the pcb is out of the housing then you do it
