Hi, I have a K750i locked to Orange UK. I upgraded this to a W800i using the Totalserver.net website. Now I need to get it unlocked so I can use a Vodafone sim. I took it to 2 phone shops in my area who both said that they need to downgrade it back to a K750i followed by unlocking then they will upgrade it to a W800i but at a cost of £30.

I don't really want to pay this as it's too much. Is it possible to get it unlocked in it's current W800i state? How do I do this?

w800 unlock is the same as k750
just click on button in any service tool
tell it to your servicemen

Thanks for that quick answer

Any tutorials on how to do it myself, which cable to buy and software to use? It might be easier and less hassle to do it that way.
