> JMIrc does not connect

Hi, I recently purchased a SE K750i, and decided to download JMirc. My internet works fine, I even use my phone as a modem. But JMirc gives me the following error: "Failed to connect to irc server. Aborting... Exception: ." No matter what server I use, I get the same message. What can be wrong?
