> The hour glass is stuck

I tried to update outlook with my phone (infrared) which I've done many times, however, I've just reformated my computer so I installed XTNDConnect and linked my phone. After a minute the phone suddenly turned off and when I tried to turn the phone back on it got stuck on the hour glass.
I've tried to "soft reset" the phone by taking the battery out. After, when I turn the phone on, the hour glass appears for 5 sec and turns off and turns back on and displays the hour glass again, but it doesn't react to any of the buttons being pressed (not even the power button) so I have to remove the battery again and the process repeats. Any suggestions?

happened with my T630. I was lucky, because what I did was smash all the number buttons I could as soon as I tried to turn it on. that caused it to 'revive'. cheers
