Other things which make every T68 unique are:

-dark patches along the bottom edge of the screen
-severity of screen "ghosting"
-contrast level at standard setting
-how much the volume slider rattles
-uniformity of keypad backlighting
-feel of joystick when pressed in each direction
-lateral movement of Yes and No buttons
-tiny "dimples" on some screens

Just think of it as each T68 having its own "personality" - some are better, some are worse!

yup... experienced the non consistency too...
when i got my t68i, the keypad sounds very loud & "crispy".. but when i got a replacement unit (which has a softer keypad sound) i noticed the screen was dimmer + yellowish....!!??!!
Wow... big diff!!!! i kept my old t68i..... wont trade off my bright white screen!!!!

I had a t68m at first and then unfortunatly i lost it.Then i got another T68mc upgraded to i and there was quite a difference in quality. The gd points abt the t68mc is that its amber keypad lights are very bright compared to the old one which was just average. But other then that i prefer my old t68.The new one was rattling noice on the slider button and the keypad has a squeaking noice...

My T68m keypad squeaked when it was new but that went away after a few weeks. Also, the 9 button had to be pushed extra hard for it to work but that also went away. Maybe they just need to wear in a little bit like a new pair of shoes! |||XerXes®|||, I hope you experience the same thing.
