Does any one know what the little icon that looks like a p with little specs coming off it is for? Its showing on my screen and i not sure how to remove it or why its there. Its located just in front of the bluetooth sign.

Looks like a P or a B. Im guessing its Bluetooth or maybe infrared port is on. What phone do you have and have you looked in the manual?

Bluetooth, ir or one of the profile icons there are a few of them. but my guess is the ir iconlike preveus writer said.

Hi Citysoldier and Skibbe it was infact the IR icon. Did not realise that IR does not turn off on its own like on the nokia 6230. Thank you for the tips.
