Hi
I am desperately seek your advices, I have some annoyance with BT on my P910i and my laptop.
I am not sure if this can be fixed, and I am not sure even that this is a problem, but I come from Nokia recently (no regrets so far of course), and Nokia's sync worked flawlessly, BT was auto-recognized etc.
Here is my problem.
I have the latest SE Sync software, and MS Win XP SP2 bluetooth stack on laptop.
When I first installed the SE software, I had to search for the Bluetooth devices, which is perfectly normal, and it found my phone, and I was able to synchronize with Outlook. I was very happy until I wanted to do it again.
I realized that every time I want to sync with my laptop, turning on the bluetooth of the phone and start the Sync software on the PC is not enough. I have to right click the little arrows (SE sync icon), choose "Connect to Phone", wait until computer finds the P910i, select it, then the connection comes alive. Is this necessary to browse for available BT devices?
With Nokia, I did this once, and from then on, when I had the Sync software running, all I did was to turn on BT on the phone, and about 10 seconds later the connection was made automatically, so I could synchronize by a push of a button.
Is this something that does not work with SE?
If I right click the arrows in the taskbar, and select "Change phone", I can see my P910i there, but it says "Not connected". No matter how long I wait, it will never connect unless I browse for BT devices in the region. THere is no way I can make the laptop remember the phone, and connect when in range?
Thanks
Ben

Hi
Noone uses bluetooth to Sync with PC? Please, i would really like to hear from other people. For me this problem seems so ridiculous that I believe I am doing something wrong. The SE software got to remember the phone which it is paired with. Isnt it so?
