Hi. I am an exchange admin and i had set up Outlook Mobile Access for our office. It worked from my previous Noki N70, but it doesnt work on my current P910i. The browser will prompt me for user name and pass, but shortly after that the following error will appear:

The device type you are using is not supported.
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Symbian OS; SonyEricsson P910; 323) Opera 6.32 [en]

This is with Opera but the built in browser errors similarly. What can i do?

Hi

Fixed it by doing the following on the Windows Exchange 2003 server.

1. Start Exchange System Manager.
2. Expand Global Settings, right-click Mobile Services, and then click Properties.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Under Outlook Mobile Access, click to select the Enable unsupported devices check box, and then click OK.

Problem was that the P910i is an unsupported device by the Exchange server, and therefore it rejected the connection. Of course the P910i works like a charm with OMA, just the Exchange needs to let it through, as an unsupported device. I guess Exchange queries the header info from the Phone, what model it is, what browser it uses, and if it isnt in the Database of Exchange supported devices, it is rejected.

When I set Exchange to allow unsupported devices, and I initiate connection from the P910i, I will get Warned "Your device is unsupported. To continue Press OK", or something similar to that.
