I've already tried many different approaches... making it a 256 color .gif file, sharpening the image, using sony's image program, but my picture still looks 2 toned... black and crap colored!! HELP!! Please? Thanks!

Give us a break Rod, whatever the pic looks like on Ericssons 'my pictures' is what it will look like on the phone, if they don't match up reasonably, course the phones colours aren't quite as good as a monitor, then there's summit wrong with your screen.

I've had my T68 for 8 months and I am familiar with graphics packages. Unfortunately the T68s colour palette is pretty crap. When converting flesh tones the colour dither can make them come out very poor. If your original picture contains many colours which are in the T68s palette then it comes out ok otherwise you will just have to touch it up using the closest colour in the palette.

ACD is also a great program to make pictures to your phone.

ACD is a bit limiting, but an ok program if you're not a serious artist
