I've got the w800 and very happy wit it bar the joy stick lol. Love the colour etc. What does the w810 offer above the w800 other than edge? Is it worth the upgrade?

W810 offers these features over W800 (other than EDGE):
- 1000 Contacts in Phonebook
- Capability to backup contacts in Memory Stick Duo
- 3 speakers under the camera and 1 in front
- New menu/user interface
- Macromedia Flash Lite

no not an entirely new user interface, but usability improvements. check out the W550 review in
this page describes all the changes- (the w810 software is based on the same ones in the W550/W600/W900 ones)
I dont think these are enough reasons for current w800 users to switch to w810 (unless EDGE is a necessity), but if you passed up the K750/W800 (like i did), this one's certainly a good phone to have if youre a fan of the classic

normal-sized candy bar (unlike the bigger K790/K800)

* the 3 "speakers" are actually just three holes in the antenna cover assembly. they're not stereo speakers as is the case in the W550/W600.
also, there's the over-the-air firmware upgrades, which isnt a lot useful unless youre on EDGE. must be painfully slow when youre downloading a 10MB firmware file over GPRS

Well it depends on how much more your willing to spend.

The only advantages of W800i over W810i:
- camera lens cover
- onscreen standby clock
For everything else, I think W810i is better.

@kristianm
When you say that there's no onscreen standby clock, do you mean the time in white on the black background? Why wouldn't the W810 have this?

The W810 documentation found on SE website has this feature comparison section between W810 and W800. That document says W810 doesn't have an onscreen standby clock.
