Hi All,

I'm totally new here and i found this site very helpful, i got a new W800i a couple of weeks ago and i just have a couple of questions..

1) How do i transfer SMSes from my W800i phone to my PC? and do they have a limited number or capacity on the phone internal memory?

2) It hangs quite a lot, and one time i had to take off the battery to work again, is it normal? and if not, what should i do?

3) How can i do a Firmware backup?

4) Where can i find helpful sofwares to make the PC/Phone communication better?

Also, How can i set my phone picture beside my posts?

What video extentions exactly can the W800i read? and how do i transfer .avi to them?

Is there anyway to let the walkman player have the same colors as the theme im using instead of orange?

1. use my phone explorer to transfer sms from phone to pc..i think the limit of sms the phone can store is somewhere around 200
2. probably a firmware upgrade will fix your phone
3. im not sure if you can backup your firmware...
4. search the Software forum for links to My Phone Explorer..

set the phone picture when you edit your profile..it's somewhere there.. >_>

5. w800 reads mp4 and 3gp videos. you need to convert your avi movies to those formats.
6. you can't change the color of the walkman player

I have a zip file called "phone backup". it's a sofware meant to backup ur whole mobile data including contacts and SMS messages, themes and all.. It's 1.4 MB i downloaded it from some place i don't remember, i never tried it yet so i can't assure it's going to work, anyway, if anyone need it please let me know how to upload it and where.
