Ok so I have downloaded TCPMP on myP800.I'm cool with it,but it can't access the video files on my phone. The only files it can access are the MP3.And l believe it's supposed to play many video formats.I've tried to get it to play videos with no luck.Even when l click playlist then findfile,it still find the mp3.
When l launch it,the mp3 are there and not the videos. Can someone help me with the video part please!!
Thanx a lot.

Not sure which build you are using ie 71b or 71j but if my memory serves me correctly any video files you wish to play have to be in the music folder (especially in build j).By default it will play the first file alphabetically and as the find function has not been fully implemented yet you have to use the next and previous function to go through your files.
Very cumbersome but this program is still very much in its beta stages and so not all functions work correctly yet.
I just used to progressively add an a to the beginning of each movie so that they were easier to find such as amovie, aamovie, aaamovie.
Alernatively the new version of Smartmovie now uses the same codec as Tcpmp and is very good.

OK I copied 1 video to the music folder but lt won't play on TCPMP,and the video is 3gp.Maybe it's the format.Tell me what formats does TCPMP supports currently.

TCPMP 0.71 dosen't support 3GPP file formats. Not even MOV, WMV & RM. Try video files with of MP4, MPG, MPEG, AVI, M4V etc.

Greggy what makes you think we're talking appliances here.Ofcourse my phone plays videos, but not other formats and the so-called appliance of yours can play the other formats.
I hope you know what I mean.
