That is crazy! The odds on surviving that have to be similar to winning the lottery. I think it is more down to pure luck than the desing of the car though. Glad he did survive though seen as the accident was in no way his fault - that the worst thing, you can be the best driver in the world but if you are in the wrong place in the wrong time then that can be it
