This is maybe a stupid question, but on my S700i and then W550i when you receive a message the contact's photo come up on the screen when it is received, but on my K750i this didn't happen.
Does anyone know of any other models which has the photo flashing up on the arrival of a new message, as I like this, and would like the next se model I get to have this also.
Thanks.

I maybe just didn't have it set up right if it works on your K750i then. Don't have it anymore, got the w550i in it's place, but was looking to upgrade to K800/K790 if they are out when my contract is up, and wanted to make sure they would support this before buying.

had a k750i once and im pretty sure contact photos don't show up on text message alerts..only during phone call alerts..this is one of the difference i've seen between k750 and w800..although im not sure about that now with regards to the latest firmware (was r1n0 before)

'Contact Picture' does load for both text and call on k750i. All you have to do is select a picture and apply it for the specific contact. However, if you move the photo to another folder, you might have to redo the whole process aforementioned. For success, recheck the contact details to see whether the picture has been actually saved under it.

K750 definitely shows pictures when receiving messages but you probably have to set New Events to display popup window instead of activity menu.
