Yep, they can go upto 32GB using the FAT file structure, but I'd say they won't be available for a little while..

Not true. The SE site only states that each model can support the latest sized mem stick. So for example currently SE are claiming 2GB as the maximum, this is only because the 4GB has not been released yet. You can't advertise a product can do something when the equipment isn't actually available. Before the 2GB was released, SE claimed the K750 maximum was 1GB (the largest available mem stick at the time), yet many people on this forum even are running 2GB sticks in their K750's. Shortly after the 2GB came out, SE modified the site from 1 to 2GB as the K750 maximum.

It's likely the K750 (and W800) will support memory all the way up to the theoretical duo limit of 32GB, but pretty much definite that it will support the 4 and 8GB sticks coming out soon.

I can understand that type of memory running multiple apps and programs on a PPC phone. However why would someone need over 2 gigs on a non PDA phone, or better yet even 2 gigs?

I don't get it. Some please enlighten me. Is it to avoid carrying an I pod ?
