Hi guys. Ive got a W600 that is cingular branded. I want to get it debranded and have a few questions.
What does the CDA do? Does anyone have a simfree W600 CDA?
Anyone got any logs?

CDA number is what identifies MAINLY what languages are available on a phone and, futher more, if it has a branded firmware.
This way, when flashing it (either at home using SEUS, or @ a service center) the software will know what kind of firmware you have inside so it doesn't mixup things (like getting eastern european languages when the phone is english).
Anyway, English is a language that is ALWAYS available in any customization (EU1, EU2, ... EMEA1,... etc...)
About what CDA should you use... well, i can't really help you with that one.
Can you post your CDA number and firmware type?

i had that error too a while ago, when i reflashed my W550- make sure your battery is charged to a full (you'll never know how many times you'll have to go through the process before everything works, better stay on the safe side), and try flashing at a lower speed (921600 rarely worked for me, 460800 did for me today)
If you want to be able to use SEUS in the future, make sure you keep your phone's original CDA. SEUS checks both CDA and IMEI before proceeding, and if they dont match, you'll just get a 'your firmware is up to date' message

I would use CDA for EU1.
That way in future updates on DaVinci you won't need to change it, and on SEUS you should get the customization you want.
