Before this was just the housing, or battery cover, now they have the keypad too. Apparently its all OEM?

I thought the buttons were in different places etc compared to the W800i/D750i/K750i?

Thats what i thought too, but they look to be in the same places. The only thing is that the housing from CNN does not include a keypad, and I checked their website and they don't sell them separately. Be careful

Surely cant you fit a w810i keyboard membrain into the phone? And then flash, id imagine its work, as i believe the hardware is the same, as in the k750i/d750/w800 Correct me if im wrong

w810 screen is bigger, pcb board layout is different and hardware is quadband with edge...
once they start selling the pcb board, keypad and joystick you can swap i'm sure but it will never be a w810 like a k750 is a w800

I reckon this would be done, difficult, but could be done. Perhaps some buttons would be useless, but youd still have a W810 look-a-like.

well u cant switch for now...k750/800 have a joystick and 810 doesnt...u would have to take apart the joystick if u want to have the 810 housing.

What Im saying is if someone had all the resources and time to craft something that looked like a W810, using the W810 front then Im sure they could some up with something that worked. The back will be usable anyway.
