nothin wrong there..what youre gettin is 4KBps that converts to 32kbps...usual speeds on airtel mo ...off peak hours max speed is 7-8 KBps... im not sure if the 3230 has edge..an edge enabled handset may produce better speeds

nokia 3230 has the edge facility.i saw that in nokia website.
and i get only a download speed of 4 kilobyte per sec.

hai blu are you getting a download speed of 110 kilobytes or kilobits per sec on the 6020 .how do you get this much speed . i asked the cc ,they are saying that you will receive a minimum of 15kilobytes per sec.how do you setup your connection using a datacable or bluetooth connection .did you just created a dial up connection only are you have setuped any special setting like proxy...etc

@vijay I'm getting about 110 kilobits, roughly 9-10 kilobytes. I have not used any extra settings or proxies and i'm using a ca-42 cable. The gprs CC in chennai says I should be getting 300 kilobits, but the CC in Kerala says that I will only be able to get 100 kilobits because the edge infrastructure is not in place.

about the mobile office i asked them and they asked me that you are recieving tower and i replayed them that i receive 5 points.and they get me another contact number and my house address.will they really work in this matter or they will not ......
