Sorry, I'm just looking for a good camera to substitute my Sony Ericsson K750i. I'm looking for a good camera, but I need an inexpensive one... This product caught my eye becauase it has a 12 Mega-Pixels? It says "interpolated"..... Does it change the quality of the picture? Does it stretch the picture? This camera sounds like a good deal...?

Do you have any sugestions?

What do you think about this product?

What camera do you recommend?

Do you use a camera? Or your phone's camera? (Mine is a Sony Ericsson K750i)

ETC...

Sorry, if I'm posting this... I just want a relyable camera because I am going to Six Flags (Magic Mountain) -California, U.S.A.- and I want to take good pictures.....

-----Do you have a CMOS camera?-----Can you post its pictures? I would like to see its capabilities... Is it a good camera? Etc...

Sorry, I'm just curious...
Thanks, for reading this.....

Thanks, KLG2992- Kevin

you sure you want to buy a camera because it's capable of interpolation? interpolation is defined as "Adding new pixels to a digital image between existing pixels. Interpolation software analyzes the adjacent pixels to create the new ones.". in effect, it makes a bigger image at the expense of quality...

I'd be tempted to steer clear of these not very well known makes, I guarantee you'll be disappointed with the quality of pictures it will produce.

I'd save up a bit longer and get a camera from a respected name like Sony, Olympus, Nikon, etc.

Agree. The issue is not cmos against ccd, since some cheap ccd's are worse than good quality cmos chips.

And some cmos chips are even as good as good qualityf ccd's. So forget about that issue.

moreover...a good photographer would be capable of equally good pics with both...for e.g a k750 or for that matter a k700 in the right hands can produce pics comparable or better than ones taken with a digicam

A DSLR photograph may have better resolution, clarity, and less distortion (due to better lenses) etc, but the actual subject matter and composition I always thought was more important than technical perfection.

on the thread topic, many high end cameras use cmos chips. For example the Sony DSC-R1 has a 10MP CMOS sensor.

I wouldn't knock one back
