hi im wondering the difference between these phones. i am on vodafone and am upset with the 6280 unfortunatly they wont let me wait to get the w810 unless i cancel my contract but i want it. they will give me the w900i but its massive, also do these phones have heavy branding issues or are they free of it? thanks for all help!

Well .. its NOT a huge difference .. just the outlook LOL .. !!! the W810i is more for older people, u see the design in W810i with black color and change of some keys in the front . so .... its 95% same as W800i ..

w810 is a quad band EDGE phone, with some GUI improvements over W800. That's about all.

w810 is a quad band edge phone while w800 is just a gprs phone, however, if you like playing 3d games on your phone, dont get w810, its got only 20mb of internal memory and more complex 3d java games require more than that just to start. w800´s got 34 mb of internal memory. Im talking abou the int mem and not the memory stick, games cannot be played from the memory stick, they have to be transfered to the int mem.

i dnt think int memry maters cuz games dnt need 30mb ram not a phone anyway

and if u keep ur music , videos , photos all on he stick then ur goin 2 be fine with games!

w800i is good for games only until the joystick begins to fail, and, believe me, playing games it will happen pretty soon.
I think that the control pads of the w810i are much safer than the w800i joystick.

I would want to think that the w810 would be a preferable option because its a quad band edge phone. These features surely make quite a difference to me when deciding on a new purchase. Except of course u do not do much with data.

Added: 24 MB are not RAM... just storage; non-volatile space for saving files.
