hi there this is what im tryin to do , take a clip from a film and convert it to a gif to mke a animated theme , what programs would i need to use to do this , i have one program that converts avi to gif but when i mke the theme and install it to my phone k700i i keep gettin corupt file etc ...

Hi,

Chances are the resulting gif-files are just too large to handle for K700i's cpu. You could try optimizing them (difference), so every layer will only contain the pixels that need to be changed. But this won't make much difference if too many pixels are changing per frame. You could also try to reduce colours before optimizing.
I use GIMP to edit gif files and create animations and there's also the plugin GAP especially for animations.
