Hi, I have a K750i upgraded to a W800i however I am having serious problems unlocking it and am tearing out my hair here as all the local shops want £30 to do it which is pretty much what I have paid now in trying to upgrade it with the various software on the net.
OK, so I upgraded it from a K750i to a W800i using DCU60 and Total Server which went fine.
I bought this cruiser cable off Ebay to unlock it:

I downloaded SEMC and tried to use that to unlock the phone. I press "read all codes". The phone boots up automatically when the "switch phone on" message appears but then I get the message "ERROR: Phone not power up". I tried all the different com ports and cable combinations but nothing.
So then I paid £7 for a Da Vinci credit. But when I select "test cable", again the phone powers up automatically but nothing happens even after leaving it for 10 minutes. Again I have also tried all the different combinations of com ports, RTS and DTS options.
PLEASE could someone point me in the right direction of what I am doing wrong? I am so hacked off that I have forked out so much money in getting this phone upgraded and unlocked
