never heard such a silly notion in all my life, there is no logic behind religion!

if there was, no one would believe.

By its definition, religion has no logic. It requires a leap of faith, which is, by definition, illogical.

Everyone on earth believes in some form of supreme being, yet at the time we all claim him to belong to whatever faith or belief we practice. Now my question is why would that supreme being,\"God\" or whatever you choose to call him want us to worship him in different ways?surely that only proves of his non-existence?

I'll say this for you, the breadth of your ignorance is impressive.

Buddhists, for a start, have no concept of god/creator/supreme or superior being.

"Everyone on earth" is a definitive statement. Many people don't believe in a supreme being and many people just don't even entertain the concept.
