searched for ages on this forum but can't find answers..

need to get the firmware number up on my w800.. tried the L*LL* etc but that just brings up my shortcut to alarm clock../?????

You need to go into the go into the service menu by pressing >*
Where "
And ">" is the joystick right press

And "*" is the star key

Under "service info" you will find the "software info" menu selection.
