I've been at it for about 12 hours now and I'm about to throw the phone out of the window because of frustration!

The thing is that everything works fine up untill when the phone needs to be updated by the seus program. It either keeps displaying the "updating your phone" message (the longest was 3 hours, but I ran out for an errand and saw it flashing when I got back home), or I immediately get an "update failed" error message and that I have to remove the phone and restart the process, but when it restarts I get the message that the phone already has the latest software?!

According to the seus software the phone's cda (162003/3) is eligible for an update and when I decide to update, it downloads the firmware but it doesn't start to flash the phone with the downloaded firmware or a get the error message as mentioned before.

I've tried removing (also manually removing leftover folders & files) and reinstalling the software, disabled my firewall and antivirus and I even reinstalled SE Suite 3.1.1 (although I haven't tried the 3.2 version yet that came with my p910i), but as it has updated other phones with this suite version I don't think it should matter that much. Hell I even tried to use my old dss-20 as I saw that seus 2.6.3.3 also installed drivers for that sync-station but encourages you to use a dss-25 nevertheless.

Is my problem unique, has anyone else encountered such a situation with seus 2.6.3.3 or is something going horribly wrong when the software updates itself after the installation from 2.2.13.7d to 2.6.3.3?

Was your phone ever unlocked by a 3rd party?

Without getting too technical, if so it's possible there are some "fingerprints" in the firmware that SEUS can see (that won't affect the phone in any way) that's stopping them from doing the update.

If not, then I have no clue sorry!

Actually, you might already have the latest firmware version in your phone.

Can you post the actual FW versions?

For example, R3D011 for the Phone Part, R5D for the Bluetooth.
We can then determine how old your FW is.

The phone was never locked and was sim-free from the moment of purchase.

But what's really strange is that when I turned on my pc this morning and saw the p900 still docked in the dss-25, I felt lucky and later found out that I my feeling was correct. After all the reboots, software reinstalls, battery switches, synch-station switches and the constant swearing of my part, the software finally decided to update the phone without any glitches or time-outs to R5B02.

Go figure!

Now I'm wondering if the phone was just buggy or if it was the seus software. This because during the time that the p900 wouldn't update I updated a k700 and a k750i without problems but the p900 just wouldn't do it and I also checked my p910i for updates, but that phone already has the newest firmware (R5B01).

Ah well sometimes you should be glad that it works and stop wondering why and how it works I guess.

So moderator this topic can be closed as it has already been resolved.
