Fed up of Orange's blocking of popular sites,I switched to Airtel.But sometimes the "Access Denied..." message appears while trying to access some sites.Airtel is much better than Orange, but a lot higher priced too.So they get their due.Thankfully the sites are not too major, but I hope Airtel's not heading towards becoming another Orange. . . To which sites have any of you(Airtel users) been "denied access"?I got that message while trying to download FULL songs on wap.moi-alizee.ru and a few more....

I'm using Mobile Office and I'm on postpaid, but you could go to the site I mentioned and verify- I'll be calling the customer service- but I'm not too optimistic about that. This message was posted from a K700i

what is the size of the song?

if it is more than 300kb you need to switch to html mode and then download.. because of the 300kb limit on the wap mode

I think you are right. I always download mp3's which are more than 5MB using hacked Airtel Live connection. I don't have any problems.

Ive been using Airtel Mobile office for over a year now..and can confirm that ive faced no such restriction issues whatsoever...i still pay a flat 199/- a month for unlimited web access..i guess Airtel let the older postpaid customers continue at the same package..

I do have the html mode on. I was concerned because the message isn't "Communication Error" it's "Access Denied". This message was posted from a K700i

They are blocking the opera server - sly animals - they know opera compresses the images and reduces the amount of data transferred !!
I can access almost every site through the default html browser, but not through opera mini...everytime I try to connect thru opera, it shows "The cannection failed".
