there are a few but the simplest for me to say is to use a gradient.. within the gradient properties i would set it to fade from colour to transparent... this way you can blend it as you like.....
Can you use photoshop? (not being funny mate, just wondering, coz if you cant it may be differcult for you)..

Depending how new you are to PS will determine how well you understand what I am about to write.
The way to do this is is to have each image as a layer. You then add a layer mask by clicking the little icon with a circle in it(Second from the left I think) at the bottom of the layer box (the box which shows all your layers).
You then click "d" this will reset your colour pallet to black and white.
You will notice that next to the layer that you added a mask to there will be a second box next to it, this is the mask. Click it once so that the edges of it are bold which shows you have selected it, you can now add a gradient to it. The darkest areas will be the invisible areas.
Do this to all the images and you will be able to blend them all perfectly.
Another way which is much easier but doesn't produce an effect as great as the above, is to select your desired layer, hold "ctrl" and then click the same layer in the layers box, the whole layer will be selected. Now right click and select feather, select about 5, then ok. Now right click again (making sure that the tool you have selected is the select/cut tool) and select inverse selection. Now press delete a couple of times, the image will now be feathered.
Hope all this made sense.
