hi,
i bought a v600i on vodafone last weekend, firstly...if i unlock it does it void my guarentee? secondly - would vodafone know i'd done it, and lastly...i know you can do it with semctool (download link plz aswell

i lost it

) - can have access to t68i datacable (same as t28?) but can you do it with the mini-usb cable that came with the phone?

I've unlocked a few phones like a T610 etc. with it and a DSS-25 SyncStation, I believe it works with the T28 cable, although not sure about the usb cable the V600 comes with, but suspect it would.
As to Voda knowing or not if it's unlocked, they shouldn't do unless you take the phone in for repair - you can see if a phone's been unlocked in the service menu. Not sure tbh if it voids the warranty or not, I suspect it does though!
