I bought my W800i when it first came out in the UK at The Link. Few months later, flashed it with the R1N035 using Davinci. All has been fine until today when I decided to use SEUS to update it to the latest firmware. Update went fine, the phone all works perfectly, however the option for English in T9 has gone, you can only choose from Spanish, French or Portuguese!?!

I have searched for an answer to this but have failed, where has English gone? and how can I get it back?

prgCXC1250174_CHINA_CA - That can't be right!

I hope there is an alternative to learning a new language, preferably which won't involve have to reflash it using Davichi and loosing all my settings. But spose that might be the only option.

will that solve it? i thought its due to the wrong firmware? any way of forceing a Uk firware from SEUS?

I've had this problem with my W550 too- double check your settings > language > writing language and make sure english is checked as an option

looked in there, there's no English there either.
