> Bird Flu Reaches The UK
Bookmark topic
Just heard that bird flu has reached the uk:
"Preliminary tests have confirmed the H5 avian flu virus in a sample from a swan found dead in Fife, health officials have revealed.
The exact virus strain is not known, but tests were continuing and further results were expected on Thursday."
Are others worried about bird flu or do you recon it has been hyped up by the media? I must admit I think that even if it doesnt happen this time a flu epidemic will occur at some point in the near future. Which is quite a worrying thought.

The way i see it sooner or later we are all gonna die,one of the definite things in life...so why worry about epidemics and such, live each day as it comes.

i accept i will die someday but i sure as hell dont want that 'some day' to be anytime soon! that's why these things are worrying. I mean i don't lie awake at night unable to sleep because of it or anything lol! But yeah i got plans and stuff i want to do see and i dont want no bird stopping me from doing them lol!
To be honest i do think that this has been hyped out of all proportion by the media. I think as long as you dont live with birds, eat there poo, or shag them then you are most likely to be safe.
