Best solution is to get broadband. Gprs is a makeshift way of getting online when you are on the move. Standard gprs phones like the 6670 can only handle speeds of 4 - 6 KBps. If you want more, get an EDGE enabled phone. I

Hi shindepankaj, If you are using your phone as an external modem, you can change the speed by going to ;
select Control panel;
click on phone and modems;
Click on your modem;
Select properties;
Click on Modems;
Increase the speed by selecting the drop down list and choose max speed.. ie. 203400 instead of 115200..

Remember your data speed also depends on how busy the network is and what time of day you are downloading..
NB.. Voice Calls take preference on the network.. ie.. VoIp.. Voice over IP...

I get 12-15 KB/s speed at off peak hours,off peak hours vary all time like 00:30 to 10:30 or sometimes 2:30 to 7:00.

To get maximum speed place your phone in a high signal covergae area,use internet download manager (16 simultaneous connections),make sure your phone have 10-12 download slots most new phones have 10 slot

If your gprs provider uses CS2 system you get max speed of 108kbps (approx) & if CS4 is used result is around 172kbps

I think that Airtel is using CS2 if they use CS4 we'll get full 172kbps at off peak hours.
