My bro forgot his secuirty code for his 6630, so if he puts in another sim its asks for the security code.
When he took it to the nokia service centre, they said it'll cost £20 to upgrade the firmware as he unlocked it - and unlocking it means its been tampered with.
anyone had the same experience?

did he change from the default 12345? I thought he you showed the proof of ownership, nokia would unlock it for you? Dont think firmware update is necessary?

yea he changed it.
The nokia huy said as its been unlocked, the warranty won't cover it as "its been tampered with".
