I've probably got this horribly wrong. I've updated my W900 phone which originally had a HongKong firmware, to an EMEA1 firmware. As the phone was originally unlocked it shouldn't have its IMEI or anything matched to any sort of operator specific firmware. Should it be possible to update to the EMEA1 firmware and change to the corresponding CDA via DaVinci and have SEUS then recognise the phone as needing an EMEA1 firmware update, or is it going to crossreference the IMEA and see that it should be a HongKong firmware and deny updating (which seems to be the case currently unless there just isn't an EMEA firmware out for it).
I can use the phone with the HongKong firmware as it has English as an embedded language, but there's a few small things here & there which still reference the native language which I'd rather not have to deal with if at all possible.
Thanks.
