Not sure if someone has posted this already,
I think there is a "minor" bug with the R1BC002 firmware related with java games. Example includes games refusing to run in true full screen and some games with disappearing graphics.
My previous firmware is R1L and games such as SC-CT and Ancient empires 1 run full screen. With R1BC, there are regions on the top and bottom of the screen that are not used by the game, instead it displays part of the desktop theme. Games such as Ridge Racer no longer works. It gets stuck in the intro screen and can no longer update the graphics after that.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Dont know if there was a fullscreen option for games. I just select the game and click screen size, then user defined and select 176 x 220 which is the full screen size. Im using K750i on that firmware and everything is OK.

I think its game specific on which one can still run on full screen and which dont. Gameloft games are the most common ones which refuses to run full screen.

No i can run games in full screen mood in my SE K750i after updating to R1B002 have no problems at all. but i'm suggesting for you to re-apply the update again maybe some software corruption happend while updating.
if the problem still exist then contact SE and see what they say if no solution then do a master reset for the phone from the main menu and press 0000 for pin code and then re-apply the update and see how things goes after.

No problems here either. All my games inc. Ridge Racer still run the same as before the update.

I too have noticed this... Extreme air snowboarding, doesn't run fun screen on r1bc... part of the theme is visible at the bottom

prolly your screen size option is not set to default...
